Ntaba Coffee Haus roasts and serves direct African trade coffee and tea in our coffee ‘hauses’ in Louisville, Kentucky. We know and work with each farmer to ensure that our beans come directly from the best farms and cooperations in Africa.
Founded with the hospitality of our German and South African heritage, our ‘haus’ feels like home. We have set out to create an authentic coffee ‘haus’, one where people come together to share stories, build relationships, discuss opportunities, and meet with friends, new and old.

Ntaba Coffee Haus began when owners Robin and Stella Mountain visited coffee farms in Ethiopia. After seeing the farms, meeting the people who picked the coffee, and experiencing the best coffee from the soil to the cup, they knew that they wanted to find a way to get the top African coffee to America. A year after ordering their first bag of green beans, Robin and Stella were ready to take the next step and open a physical location, which meant the creation of Ntaba Coffee Haus.
Today we offer our customers organic, fair trade, fresh roasted coffee, sourced from the best farms in Africa. Robin’s other business, Ntaba African Safaris, ensures he still gets the time to go to Africa and see the farms our coffee is coming from. Our South African and German heritage are reflected in the sweet and savory treats we offer.
